The following description of the human aura is based on the published research work of Dr. Walter J. Kilner. Dr. Kilner concluded that the aura appears as a triple-decked visible envelope which completely surrounds the human body.

First is a narrow dark band, a quarter of an inch wide, which is next to the skin. Beyond this, and projecting from two to four inches outward is a second aura, called the inner aura. This is said to be the clearest of ail the layers. Beyond this is a third aura, called the outer aura, misty in aspect and without a sharp outline at its farthest edge. The third layer is generally about six inches across.

Normally the radiations shoot out at right angles from the body. These rays are electric in appearance and have a fugitive quality, constantly shifting and changing.

Longer rays project from the fingers, the elbows, the knees, the hips, the breasts.

A survey of people who have reported seeing the aura was con ducted by Louis J. Vacca with the cooperation of FATE Magazine. This survey found that the aura appears as a pulsating, moving thing. The descriptions furnished by those who have observed the aura left no doubt that they see a beautiful sight. It was reported that the aura may vary according to the emotions or thoughts of the subject, and that the shape may pulse and change; they are never static.

Medical interest in the aura started with the fact that the aura is a positive index of physical health. Thus, changes in the aura may indicate changes in physical health.

Some researchers now believe that the breakdown of the aura can indicate the onset of a physical illness long before physical symptoms are observed.

To summarize the current findings of aura researchers, organic diseases seem to affect the inner aura; nervous diseases seem to affect the outer aura.

In disease, certain dark patches may appear in the aura. Of more importance, however, is its general shape. A nervous disorder is said to be revealed by an aura that falls abruptly away in the area of the thigh. An outward bulge, away from the spine, is regarded as a typical sign of hysteria.

Physical ailments seem to cause changes in the normal bright ness of the aura and nervous ailments to cause changes in the pure quality of its intensity. For example, neurotics usually have a poor outer aura and a dull inner aura.

Researchers continue to probe the functions of the human aura. Some investigators have been intrigued by the strange beams or rays of light that were seen emerging from or going to the body.

These rays seem to shoot off into space, passing through the various auras and, according to Kilner, they always remain straight, never being curved.

Many clairvoyants have seen these rays shooting from members of a circle in the seance room, or from person to person, or from a person to an object in the room. Later, questioning revealed that the person thought about the object or person contacted by the rays during the seance at the same time as seen by the clairvoyant. Kilner confirms that rays in the aura can be controlled by thought.

Museum of Tarot's Dicyanin Aura Goggles are the only aura goggles in the world that are true to Dr. Kilner's original work

What are Dicyanin Aura Goggles?

Museum of Tarot's Dicyanin Aura Goggles are scientific devices designed to make practical use of the visual methods of viewing and assessing the human aura developed by the great researchers Kilner and Bagnall.

The original researchers had to use expensive and fragile screens, or awkward hand-held films to see the human aura. Such apparatus was not only expensive and unwieldy, but it was also short lived since the dyes used in the screens and films soon deteriorated and the screens were easily broken.

Dicyanin Aura Goggles were designed to provide an economical, portable comfortable, and sturdy piece of apparatus that would put aura research within the reach of everyone interested in psychic matters.

Dicyanin Aura Goggles consist of a light-excluding frame that is intended to block external light. These frames may be adjusted to provide a comfortable fit on anyone's head. While wearing the goggles, the researcher's hands are free for other work.

The frames hold the filters made of specially crafted scientific grade optical glass. The filters are the most important part of the goggles. Each pair of Aura Goggles comes equipped with a pair of our "regular" Dicyanin Aura Goggle lenses, the best grade to use at the start of aura-vision training.

The frames of the Aura Goggles are designed so that the original filters may easily and quickly be replaced with filters of varying strength for use in advanced study, these lenses are included with our Dicyanin Aura Research Kit.

Seeing the aura with Dicyanin Aura Goggles

Before each attempt to see the aura, the eyes must be re-sensitized by looking through the Dicyanin Aura Goggles. This practice must be followed even by experienced persons with well-developed aura-vision.

If, after a number of attempts, you are still unable to see the aura unaided, the use of the additional Dicyanin Aura Research Kit filters may be indicated. In this case, use the regular strength first to sensitize the eye. Then replace the regular filter with the medium filter and again look for the aura. When you can see the aura with the medium, try the light filter. But always use the regular first.
